Cedar House is proud to introduce you to a variety of stock for sale at any time. This stock can vary in quality depending on your requirements as a buyer. A beginner will want to enter at a lower level and possibly buy more females than an already developed breeder who may be looking at our stock to introduce very specific traits into their breeding programmer.

This is all a consideration when you first enquire with us, so that we may find the right type of animal for you. NOT all alpacas are the same, there is a great variety in key traits and these are identified at the time of selling to you. Furthermore, Cedar House will support you with stud sire servicing over many years if you want us to. This will actually intensify your style of alpaca as we will be searching for key traits to enhance breeding development. Not until you have experience and a sizeable number of females should you purchase a stud sire.

All of our sires are rigourously selected, trialed and proven before we suggest clients use them. We must be able to support our own aims for a quality fine dense fibre over the longer term. We are utilising the knowledge from many experts in the wool field, including SRS (long wool) principals as part of our programmer.
